Under this statement emerges the concept connected to the creation of the Chemistry armchair an upholstery modular equipment conceived to be as an individual armchair, a love seat for two, or in case of a stretched variation, a cosy and social sofa.

Taking the alchemist’s task, Vairinhos tried to combine different levels of complexity on the same equipment, creating something close to a chemical formula or a love potion, a symbiosis between the purist-spiritual and the romantic-drama with the handmade details.

The equipment manufacture techniques are quite simple. The main body is produced in laser cuted polyurethane foam, which permits the whole equipment to be acceptably light, positioned over a frame of wood, covered at the end with a carefully combination of fine fabrics

The daring contrast of shapes and the Low seating height, creates a new impression of space and sophistication and at the same time the guarantee of integration on the most classic and modern environments.
Above all, there is something chemical, experimental and unexplainable about it: the interaction of "boiling molecules" and something just about to blow!

Tomando em mãos a tarefa do Alquimista, Vairinhos tenta combinar diferentes níveis de complexidade no mesmo equipamento, criando algo equiparado a uma fórmula química ou uma poção: a simbiose entre o "espiritual" e o "purista" e o "romantismo- dramático" dos detalhes feitos á mão.

As técnicas de produção deste equipamento são bastante simples. Sendo o corpo principal totalmente composto por espuma de poliuretano, a peça maciça é inteiramente "esculpida" a laser.
Depois, este é posicionando sobre uma pequena base de estrutura em madeira que confere estabilidade ao elemento de assento.
No final, obtém-se com esta técnica um resultado consideravelmente bem mais leve que a maioria dos equipamentos desta categoria.
Todos os peças são finalizadas com a adição de uma cuidadosa selecção de tecidos.

O refinado e ousado contraste das formas aplicadas, combinadas com a baixa altura do assento, criam uma nova dimensão de espaço e sofisticação, garantindo ao mesmo tempo a integração deste equipamento tanto em ambientes clássicos como em ambientes modernos.

Unter diesen Aspekten entstand ein außergewöhnliches Sitzmöbel, der CHEMESTRY Sessel. Ein Polstersessel individuell und modular entwickelt, ein Sessel für zwei, ein love-seat for 2, ein Großsessel oder besser ein gemütliches Klein-Sofa. Elegante runde und gerade Formen laden zu einem neuen Sitz-erlebnisses ein.

Zwei Sitzniveaus (höher und tiefer) ermöglichen dem Nutzer seinen Körper in verschiedenen Sitzebenen zu entspannen. Die Form, von der simplen bis zur komplexen, passt perfekt zu der Entwicklung einer homogenen 3D Komposition.

Die komplexen handgearbeiteten Details unter Einsatz von zwei verschieden Stoffarten sind das Highlight dieses Sessels, insbesondere wie diese Stoffe auf schlichte Art miteinander verbunden werden und so einen außergewöhnlich eleganten Effekt auslösen.

Die Technik der Herstellung ist sehr einfach. Der Korpus des Sessels ist aus Polyurethanen Schaum (lasergeschnitten) und damit besonders leicht. Der Korpus wird auf einen ebenfalls leichten Holzrahmen gesetzt. Der Bezug des CHEMESTRY Sessels ist aus feinen Stoffen.

Der durchaus gewollt, gewagte Kontrast von Formen, Stoffen und der niedrigen Sitzhöhe schafft einen neuen Eindruck von Raum und Kultiviertheit. Zum gleichen Zeitpunkt aber ist das Sitzmöbel integrierbar in einer klassischen modernen Umgebung.
